The ECAIA ionizer S is a latest-generation electronic water ionizer that has been on the market since 2020. Easy to use, with a timeless design, and suitable for all types of drinking water worldwide.
To ensure the device remains fully functional, it should be descaled regularly depending on the hardness of the water. A descaling kit is included free of charge with the ECAIA ionizer S.
All details are explained below.
The drinking water is first thoroughly purified of contaminants using two filters. It then flows through an electrolysis cell with seven large, platinum-coated titanium electrodes and is separated into two streams by electrical voltage.
Acidic water (anode): higher concentration of hydrogen ions (H⁺).
Alkaline water (cathode): higher concentration of hydroxide ions (OH⁻) as well as active hydrogen.
Dissolved minerals such as calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), potassium (K), and sodium (Na) support the process and stabilize the pH value.
Depending on the setting, alkaline pH values (e.g., 7.5–9.5) or acidic pH values (e.g., 4–7) are produced, which are available via a separate outlet.

Special water crystal images by Rainer Niederkofler (https://www.wasserkristalle.eu) were created using ECAIA water from the ECAIA ionizer S.
The starting point was so-called neutral water (“zero-point water”), which forms hardly recognizable crystal structures under the same conditions and therefore allows for comparison.
The water was then treated with the ECAIA ionizer S, frozen, and photographically documented under the microscope during thawing.
This revealed significantly clearer and more structured crystal formations.
These visual representations serve to illustrate possible changes in water structure through treatment in an accessible way.
The results do not constitute scientifically confirmed statements about health effects, but rather offer an additional perspective on an aesthetic and qualitative level.
