Water treatment with ECAIA cartridge divided into two phases:
Phase 1 - Cleaning
As in ECAIA filters No. 1 and No. 2 of the ECAIA ionizer , the ECAIA cartridge ECAIA carafe also ECAIA ionizer ECAIA carafe . Depending on the level of contamination, it achieves a light to very high filter performance for the most common contaminants in drinking water. This means that values are often achieved that are well below the specified limits of the Drinking Water Ordinance. Note: In areas with very hard water, high ionization performance cannot be guaranteed, which is why a low to very low pH value and/or a redox value in the positive range are possible.

During this chemical process, the water acquires the same properties as it does when treated with electronic water ionizers. It becomes more alkaline, richer in oxygen, and more antioxidant (rich in electrons). Knowledge of water treatment using fired minerals and metals dates back a long way. Ceramics were already being fired around 2000 to 3000 years ago, particularly in China, Japan, and Korea. Later, functional ceramics were developed that can change the pH and ORP values of water. SANUSLIFE® INTERNATIONAL has taken up this ancient knowledge. Numerous tests were carried out to identify the weaknesses of previous filter media and adapt them to the properties of today's water. Almost everything was revised in the process, from the materials and burning time to the formula. Depending on the source water, values of up to pH 9.5 and ORP of over -100 mV can be achieved.
