ECAIA carafe a mineral water ionizer in the form of a carafe. Unlike an electric water ionizer, it does not require electricity. Activated carbon particles significantly reduce contaminants in the water. Special ceramics then ionize the water. In addition, a small plaque at the bottom of the carafe ensures the correct energetic quality. The end product is harmoniously energized, clean, alkaline, ionized, and antioxidant ECAIA water.

Note: Depending on the mineral composition of the water, the ionization performance may vary. Therefore, high ionization performance cannot always be guaranteed, which is why a low to very low pH value and/or a redox value in the positive range is possible.

As with the ECAIA ionizer, the ECAIA carafe also uses filter technology by SANUSLIFE® International. The filtration and ionization process takes place in the ECAIA cartridge. Special bio-ceramics provide mineral ionization without electricity.

Note: Depending on the mineral composition of the water, the ionization performance may vary. Therefore, a high ionization performance cannot always be guaranteed, which means that a low to very low pH value and/or a redox value in the positive range is also possible.

Water treatment with ECAIA cartridge divided into two phases:

Phase 1 - Cleaning

As with ECAIA Filter No. 1 and No. 2 of the ECAIA ionizer, the ECAIA cartridge of the ECAIA carafe also contains activated carbon granules. Depending on the level of contaminants present, this achieves a filtration performance ranging from moderate to very high for the most common impurities found in drinking water. As a result, values are often significantly below the limits set by drinking water regulations.c

Note: In areas with very hard water, a high ionization performance cannot be guaranteed. This may result in a low to very low pH value and/or a positive redox value.

Phase 1 - Cleaning

Through this chemical process, the water acquires similar properties to those achieved by electronic water ionizers. As a result, its physicochemical parameters, such as pH value and redox potential (ORP), are altered. The knowledge of water treatment using fired minerals and metals dates back a long time. Particularly in China, Japan, and Korea, ceramics were already being fired around 2,000 to 3,000 years ago. Later, functional ceramics were developed that can influence the pH value and ORP (oxidation-reduction potential) of water. SANUSLIFE® INTERNATIONAL has taken up this ancient knowledge. Numerous tests have been carried out to identify weaknesses in earlier filter media and to adapt them to the properties of modern water. In the process, almost everything has been revised – from the materials and firing duration to the formulation. Depending on the source water, values of up to pH 9.5 and an ORP of over -100 mV can be achieved.

Special water crystal images by Rainer Niederkofler (www.wasserkristalle.eu) were created using ECAIA water from the ECAIA carafe.
Neutral water (known as "zero point water") was used for this purpose. It does not allow crystal formation and serves as an optimal starting point for analysis. The "zero point water" was filtered through the ECAIA carafe, frozen, and then photographed under a microscope during the thawing process.
